Retirement

Hi FF Managers

With regret I am retiring my blog. To be absolutely honest, I always wanted to start a blog and being a FF addict, thought blogging on this game was the best route in. However there are a few factors that lead to my decision;

1) My wife and I are expecting our first child so I will take a year's break from FF in 10/11 season.
2) Although I have 300 followers, I'm not really adding any value over and above the fantastic advice you get on other FF blogs esp AM and J & N.
3) Work demands means I will be travelling overseas a lot over the coming weeks so I will not have time to carry on the blog for rest of the season.

I don't think there will be anyone really disappointed by this news. In fact apart from a couple to great friends esp VS, don't think I have any regulars on this site. Sorry I've pulled the plug before the end of season but hope you understand my reasons.

Thanks for your support over the last 3 months.

    HI SK,totally understandable, I am sure you are disappointed that there was not more interest but let me say that I did check your blog every Saturday morning as you are the only one that posts your team before the deadline and that has been helpful (AM and J&N don't as you know). you did add value as a FF blog.

    All of the best on being a father, I have 4 kids and it is one of life's best experiences. Hope you reach the position you are aiming for this season on FF!

    Hi SK,

    Took me some time to digest this post. Firstly, congrats on starting a new family, I'm sure its an exciting time and much to look forward too. If its anything to go by, look at how Kai Rooney transformed Wayne's career this season! Hope the same for your career too.

    I must thank you for this blog. Your advise helped me turn a 150 point deficit to a 200 point lead in my private league, shot me up over 5000 places overall since you've started this blog. I owe this to you - as it was a tiny reply you gave me that changed my whole fantasy perspective. You've added a lot of value, trust me.

    Enjoy the end of the season, the World Cup and the F1 season too. Looking forward to seeing you in YFF 2011/12.
